Sorry for the huge absence after announcing some super exciting (and shocking) news!
Anyways, in lieu of travel recaps or tidbits about expat life in Lima, I’m going to start a simple Saturday morning post with a few links I’m liking, or other random little things. I know this is popular on many other blogs, but there are always little things I like to share, and I’m curious to see what others are reading & discovering online. Starting something new, here goes!
I’m totally adding this bagel to my food bucket list! So bright and colorful! YUM!
An Air Bnb bookstore/apartment! How unique is that?!
These bizarre laws in the States made me giggle! In NC it’s illegal to use elephants to plow cotton fields! And in Georgia it’s illegal to keep an ice cream cone in your back pocket on Sundays?! Haha, these are so random but silly.
A sweet friend from Oregon brought me some Thai Tea a few weeks ago, and it’s delicious! I just drank a hot cup of it Thanks Rachel!
As if Katie wasn’t adorable enough (seriously, I love her blog & her heart!), look at these breathtaking pictures from her family’s trip to the Matterhorn last winter! Could she be any cuter?
If I could, I would buy ALL the muslin swaddles from Modern Burlap. But I can’t, so I’m pining over this one, this (July baby, represent!), this, and this! How perfect, considering he’s already traveled with us around Peru!
In other baby news, he’s 26 weeks now! It amazes me how that tiny body can develop inside of me.
Lately in the travel blog world, I’ve seen posts nonstop about Iceland & Italy. While yeah, I’d like to visit those places someday, my heart is more interested in the lesser known places and the places untouched by tourists. That’s why I enjoyed this post about Afghanistan!
My blog post about Finding an Apartment in Lima, Peru, if you’re interested in reading the process!
That’s all for this morning! I’ve got a restful weekend ahead of me… husband is traveling, I have papers and exams to grade, material to read, and lots of food to eat (I blame the baby!) Hope your weekend is wonderful!
